About Lance Smith
Lance was born and raised outside of Houston, Texas. At the age of 18 he joined the U.S. Army and served with the 101st Airborne Division. After becoming and Iraq Veteran, Lance left the military and served 8 years as a firefighter in his local community. He believes strongly in supporting the veteran and first responder communities as well as their families. While serving as a firefighter Lance earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and a Master's in Business Administration from Colorado Christian University. He also wrote and published "Strategy and Tactics for the Post 9/11 GI Bill", which provides an in-depth look into maximizing veteran's education benefits. During this time Lance purchased his first home and began to discover the benefits of home ownership. Lance believes home ownership provides stability for families, security for the future, and is the greatest source of wealth generation in America. Because of his beliefs he simplifies the mortgage process and focuses on aligning his clients home purchase with their long term goals and dreams. Lance does this because he believes joining his clients at the closing table isn't the end of a relationship but the start of one.
